nlnet funds GNUnet development
« on: January 23, 2009, 12:00:34 AM »
From the GNUnet page:

The nlnet foundation is graciously providing us with our first funding ever. They are funding work on the design, implementation, deployment and evaluation of an improved routing protocol for one year to the tune of $32,578. Major goals include:

  • A fish-eye-like DV routing algorithm for DHT neighbor selection
  • Parameter selection for the DHT using experiements in different topologies
  • Integration of neighbor reliability and distance in routing decisions and DHT construction

You can read the official nlnet announcement for some more details on this project.

I'd like to know your opinion. What do you think about it?
