Register or not register
« on: October 15, 2004, 07:21:04 PM »
In the last few weeks we got many new registered users, but the majority of them seems to prefer the MUTE style - just register and donīt talk...;-)

For this reason let me say that you should only register if you are really interested in our board topics and are willing to discuss them. We do not have any hidden forums which are only visible to registered users nor do we provide other stuff than the visible.

Cheers,
Markus

If there are users which want to UNregister, how can they do that? If it's a simple process, then some user will do it instead of having sleeping accounts.

Greetings,
Nemo.

I never tried to delete an registered account on phpBB, but if there is no easy way for users to delete their accounts I am sure I will find a MySQL script which deletes unused accounts with zero postings automatically ;-)

Hi found strange these nicks:

Thank you for the hint, Nglwarcry. I will check this accounts further and if I find signs of autocreated accounts they will be removed in no time
