Running I2PHex on Linux
« on: September 19, 2005, 10:55:04 AM »
Hi,
How do you set up isphex under linux. I have all the files in one directory home/.../isphex
Java has been setup okay and I2P runs fine.
I have changed the run.sh file to point to the i2p directory.
When I run run.sh it comes up with the splash screen and then the program dies.
The error I get is

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/i2p/client/streaming/I2PSocketManager
        at java.lang.Class.getDeclaredMethods0(Native Method)
        at java.lang.Class.privateGetDeclaredMethods(Unknown Source)
        at java.lang.Class.getMethod0(Unknown Source)
        at java.lang.Class.getMethod(Unknown Source)
        at i2phex.common.Environment.initializeManagers(Unknown Source)
        at i2phex.Main.main(Unknown Source)

What else do I need to do. I notice the windows version creates a directory in the users document and settings directory and adds extra files there such as the hosts file and config file.
Where is that kept when using linux

Thanks

Ok first recheck your run.sh, make sure the streaming.jar and mstreaming.jar are both being correctly included in the classpath.

As to where i2phex stores those files in linux, they are probably in somewhere like /home/.../.i2phex or something like that. Many linux applications do that. If they are not there, try checking the other usual locations.
