I have pretty much decided to give up on development for MUTE for now.  I
welcome other users to take it over and develop it.

Well, I can understand JROC´s reasons. Furthermore I am still wondering whether Jason will release new MUTE versions in the future or if he abandoned his project.

I strongly hope that Nate will keep up with his work on NapShare so that we can expect some exciting new features in the near future...8)

Cheers,
Markus

I would love to contribute more, but it seems like the forces that be (aka the users) don't really seem to run the program...

without interest of users and more importantly without the interest of programmers, it takes away a lot of the desire for folks like myself to continue.

Recently, Defnax had the interest of changing the icons on the tabs and making them larger.  He contacted me, and I helped him figure out how to do it.  If more people come to me like that, I'm willing to help them a little.

He got his end result working fine... and I may add the ability to have icon files in an icon directory so people can dynamically change the icons on the tabs... and then put it back out as a new release..  but as for real developments... the only good thing I've seen is more web caches have popped up..
-peace out...

keep it real,
JROC...
