Hi echelon
First, I am on imac-Inter Leopard.
I saw yesterday for the first time in i2p somewhere, mention of imule, and the idea of getting access to the mule and Donkey nets through i2p sounded to me a very excellent one... if it can develop as someting as efficient as eD2K or mlDonkey (or maybe it is already)... so I decided to give to it a serious trial...
Unfortunately the link I got was an eD2k link:
ed2k://|file|imule-MACOSX-1.3.3_osx_x86.tar.[contentdb.emule-project.net].bz2|1965561|10153FC00F640D894B93FC70E1CD317A|s=http://aceini.no-ip.info/imule/imule_1.3.3_osx_x86.tar.bz2|
and so I tried to restart my old mlDonkey… it connected OK, but neither Sancho nor mlMac could... Same sort of a problem with eD2k that refused to connect... finally I Downloaded aMule, but somehow, the client correctly mounted, the app started and connected to a server, the file after been entered don't seem to ever get started... I also had a link in i2p (
http://www.imule.i2p/download.php) but couldn't see any version for mac... anoyherone also, from tino, but it said it was uncorrect...
still, and out of i2p forum, I had another address :
http://contentdb.emule-project.net/view.php?pid=1719but this time, Snark gave me the following message:
Torrent at
http://contentdb.emule-project.net/view.php?pid=1719 was not valid: Expected 'd', not '
So, I thought of ol' planet peer... but here, again I can't seem to localize the mac version...
of course I could, if no other way, install this on either xp pro or Kubuntu that are installed on my Mac... but it would really be more convenient for me on Leopard.
Thanks for a working link either i2p or even direct (for such a small weight, I could even use Tor or Jap)...
