The dargens download site does not give me the dowload file. It says my java is not the actual version. That is wrong. My java really IS up to date. Well, "dargens.com" makes people think you are a commercial software house so no many people will try it however.

ANt (Flik) please post the exact error you get and also details of the operating system that you are using and  I will fix the bug.

Dargens is open source,  the source code is published for EVERYONE to use.

Dargens.com is an EASY to remember domain name.

Just because it is easy and friendly does not make it bad.

Anyway I look forward t receiving more details from you of the bug as no one else has fed back any issues so far.

Thanks

I use MacOs 10.5.2 and Safari 3.1.1. Your web site denied my download request. It says I would need another verision of Java before I can download Ants 2. I am sure my Java is the latest available!

OK FIXED.

This was caused by not being able to detect version of java on a Safari browser.

It now just gives a warning and you can carry on and load ANts p2p with a new web interface.

I did try to download the needed file again, but I was not able to get it. When the warning appears and I press CANCEL the message "The change you wanted was rejected. Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to." appears. If I press OK instead it redirects me to a site that tells me to use the Apple Software Update to get the latest Java if needed. The software update says everything is up to date so no Java update is available for my mac here.

Dargens p2p update:

1. Now fully compatible with linux (just ignore java update message)
2. Bit torrent like functionlity added so can download a file from tracker with one click.
3. Still based on ANts p2p but now can submit files to tracker so other web user can download anonymously.

Does it make use of a nice GUI now, or is it still this strange web-based thing I do not like to trust? I also remember problems getting whatever was needed to run that thing on a mac ...
