I have tried many times to use the origianl version of ANts p2p but although I can connect to several users.

I find files start to download and then stop.  So I have hundreds of incomplete files.

I presume this is not the case for other users.

Tell me what I need to do to successfully download.

What am I doing wrong.

The protocol works as I don't get this problem with the ANts mod dargens.

I am the developer of dargens (www.dargens.com) an updated version of ANts p2p.

Hello ezzye!

I guess, this was to much. Maybe the threads get locked, once the CPU is maxed out. Just try to restrict yourself to less than 100 downloads total and perhaps 30 of them active at a time and monitor the CPU-usage. For now you could either:
- split your chunks-directory by moving several groups of files that start with the same hash out (stop ANts before you do it)
- or terminate them.
